Suzanne is skilled coach, facilitator and trainer. She has an
extensive background in human relations, education, and
psychology. Before founding her decorating and training
businesses, Suzanne earned three degrees, including, a
Master’s Degree in Counseling and a post-master’s Education
Specialist Degree in Counseling Psychology.
Suzanne is a member of the
Interior Redesign Industry Specialists
(IRIS),
ODDAA
(the One-Day Decorating Alumni Association), the
Window Coverings Association of America
(WCAA), and is a charter member of the
Society of Decorating Professionals.
She is certified by IRIS and the SDP as a redesigner and is
certified in real estate staging by the SDP. She is a regular
columnist and serves on the Advisory Board of the trade
publication, Custom Home Furnishings Magazine. In 2006,
she was also named a Certified Trainer and Advisory Council
Member for the
Dewey Color Consulting System.
Suzanne is a frequent conference speaker and instructor, and
has been invited to speak at 4 international design-related
conferences in the past two years. She also moderates a forum
on marketing for her fellow redesigners. In addtion to her
professional training, Suzanne has taught dozens of classes on
decorating topics for homeowner, community, church, and
women’s groups, as well as businesses such as Sherwin
Williams, Stein Mart, Details, and the Cleveland HBA. Suzanne
has been a featured designer for the Sun Newspapers "Changing
Places" series and has made numerous television appearances.
Suzanne’s design work and her writing have been featured on
prestigious home tours and in various publications. A noted
color expert, she has given seminars for Sherwin Williams as
well as serving as a color consultant for hundreds of
decorating projects over the years. Suzanne has received two
international awards for her redesigns. She is available for
redesigns, consultations, and speaking/training opportunities
across the US.
Today, Suzanne remains grounded in the “real world” of
business ownership and continues to work in her
Cleveland-based full-service decorating business,
