Tell me more about the course:
This is a professional redesign training course. The class consists
of a fast paced, info- and activity- packed 5-day program designed
by working redesigner and nationally-recognized trainer, Suzanne
Cox-Hudson. Class size is limited to 5 students to encourage
interaction and to give each student plenty of attention. The class
will complete redesigns in 4 rooms in actual homes. Your amazing,
info-packed professional manual with plenty of note-taking space is
included. Training sessions in Cleveland take place in our cozy,
lovely studio and training center located in Avon Lake, Ohio, just
blocks from the shores of Lake Erie.
What’s the weather like there?
Our studio is located in Avon Lake, Ohio, on the far west side of
Cleveland, Ohio. We are minutes from Cleveland Hopkins International
Airport . Avon Lake and the Airport are outside of the lake effect
snow belt. Even when other parts of the country are getting snow, we
are usually just fine in Avon Lake. In spring and summer
temperatures are usually comparable to may other Midwestern cities,
averaging in the low 70s by day.
What do I need to bring?
Plan to dress comfortably but professionally, as we will be in
client homes. We will have tools for students use in the homes.
Breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday plus a special dinner on Thursday
are included. You will need to arrange your travel and lodging (we
can help by giving you travel info.) and provide your own dinners.
(Airfare and lodging are not included in course fee.) Bring your
camera for taking portfolio pictures.
We try to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and to
offer you our best hospitality during your stay.
Where do I stay?
Please call our office so that we may give you a packet on traveling
to Cleveland.
Do I need prior experience?
This class is designed to help you launch a new business or service.
You do not have to be an experienced decorator in order to take the
class. Experienced designers will learn new skills and paradigms.
But each student will gain something different as well as have
something unique to offer.
